Genuine Audi Power Steering Reservoir Hose 8K0422887AH OEM A5 - Audi (8K0-422-887-AH)

Genuine Audi Power Steering Reservoir Hose is a genuine OEM component designed specifically for the Audi A5, covering model years 2008 through 2012 with a 2.0L engine, excluding dynamic steering configurations and including servotronic-equipped vehicles. This hose serves as the suction line connecting the power steering fluid reservoir to the pump, maintaining a continuous, low-pressure flow of hydraulic fluid that keeps your steering smooth and responsive. A compromised or deteriorating hose can introduce air into the system, leading to pump whine, erratic steering feel, and accelerated wear on expensive downstream components. Choosing a genuine Audi A5 OEM Power Steering Reservoir Hose over an aftermarket alternative matters here because suction hoses must maintain precise inner diameter tolerances and collapse resistance under vacuum. Aftermarket versions frequently use inferior rubber compounds that stiffen in cold temperatures or soften under engine heat, causing micro-fractures that allow air ingestion without any visible leak. OEM part 8K0422887AH is manufactured to Audi's exact specifications, ensuring a perfect fit and the same long-term durability as the original. Also referenced as a Power Steering Suction Hose or simply Reservoir Hose, this part installs without modification.
