Genuine Audi Upper Mount Protect Cap 8E0412377C OEM A6 A4 S4 - Audi (8E0-412-377-C)

Genuine Audi Upper Mount is a critical suspension component designed for the Audi A4, S4, RS4, and A6, including Cabriolet variants of the A4 and S4, on models without air suspension or dynamic ride control. This genuine OEM part, also referenced without dashes as 8E0412377C, serves as the top anchor point for the shock absorber assembly, isolating road vibrations and maintaining precise shock absorber alignment within the strut tower. When this mount degrades, drivers typically experience increased cabin noise, imprecise steering feel, and accelerated wear on surrounding suspension components. Choosing genuine Audi OEM over aftermarket alternatives matters significantly here because the upper mount must meet exact compression and rebound damping tolerances engineered specifically for Audi's suspension geometry. Aftermarket versions frequently use lower-durometer rubber compounds that harden prematurely or fail to match the factory load ratings, compromising both ride quality and structural integrity. The Audi A6 A4 S4 RS4 OEM Upper Mount 8E0-412-377-C is manufactured to the same specifications as the original part installed at the factory, ensuring a precise fit and consistent performance over the long term.
